Open Gardens in Essex

 

Merely a small journey south of Colchester, down the A12 and based at Rettendon near Chelmsford, is Hyde Corridor Garden. Possessed by the United Kingdoms primary backyard charity, The Regal Horticultural Society, Hyde Corridor is around twenty miles in dimensions and is a wonderful hilltop garden with a comprehensive selection of flowering and ornamental woods, shrubs, and coloured-themed herbaceous borders.

A huge visitor attraction at Hyde Corridor is the Farmhouse Yard, also two ornamental lakes which contain a broad choice of water lilies, bog plants and fish.
